Privacy Policy

Last updated: 30 April 2026
1. Who We Are
AllCryptoWallets.org ("we", "us", "our") is a cryptocurrency wallet research and comparison platform. We are the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this Privacy Policy. Our platform is governed by the laws of the Netherlands, and we process personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable privacy laws.
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, you can contact us via the contact details available on our website.
2. What Data We Collect and Why
We collect only the minimum data necessary to operate our platform. Below is an overview of the categories of data we process and the purposes for which we process them.
Usage and analytics data (Google Analytics 4)
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand how visitors use our website. GA4 collects data such as pages visited, session duration, device type, browser, and approximate geographic location (derived from your anonymised IP address). We have enabled IP anonymisation. This data is processed in aggregate and is not used to personally identify you.

We also use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to measure specific interactions on the platform, including button clicks and clicks on affiliate links. These events help us understand which content and features are most useful to our visitors.

Legal basis: Your consent, which you provide via the cookie consent banner when you first visit our site (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie settings button on our website.
Affiliate link tracking
Our website contains affiliate links to cryptocurrency wallet providers and related services. When you click an affiliate link, the destination website may record your click via a tracking cookie or redirect parameter. AllCryptoWallets.org may also record the click event through GTM to measure which affiliate links are used.

We may earn a commission if you make a purchase after following an affiliate link. This does not affect the price you pay. Affiliate links are identified and disclosed where they appear.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest in operating and funding our free research service (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). You can opt out of analytics tracking via the cookie consent settings.
3. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies on our website. A full description of the cookies we use is provided in our Cookie Policy. In summary:
  • Strictly necessary cookies — required for the website to function, including storing your cookie consent preference. These are set without your consent as they are essential.
  • Analytics cookies (GA4) — set by Google to collect aggregated usage statistics. Only placed after you give your consent.
  • Marketing/tracking cookies — may be set when you click affiliate links, by the destination website's tracking system. We have no control over third-party cookies placed by external sites.
You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking the cookie settings link on our website. Please note that disabling analytics cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site.
4. Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services that may process your data on our behalf:
  • Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager (Google LLC, USA) — for website analytics and event tracking. Google processes data under a Data Processing Addendum and participates in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. For more information, see Google's Privacy Policy at policies.google.com/privacy.
  • Affiliate networks and wallet providers — when you click an affiliate link you are redirected to a third-party website. That website's own privacy policy governs how your data is handled from that point forward. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.
We do not sell your personal data to any third party.
5. Data Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected:
  • Analytics data — retained in Google Analytics for 14 months (the minimum configurable period), after which it is automatically deleted.
  • Cookie consent records — retained for up to 12 months or until you change your preference.
6. Your Rights Under GDPR
As a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights regarding your personal data:
  • Right of access — you can request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Right to rectification — you can ask us to correct inaccurate data.
  • Right to erasure — you can ask us to delete your personal data where there is no legitimate reason for us to continue processing it.
  • Right to restriction — you can ask us to pause processing of your data in certain circumstances.
  • Right to data portability — you can request your account data in a structured, machine-readable format.
  • Right to object — you can object to processing based on legitimate interests.
  • Right to withdraw consent — where processing is based on consent (e.g. analytics cookies), you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us via the details on our website. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
7. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Passwords are stored in hashed form and are never transmitted in plain text. Our website is served over HTTPS.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the website after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
